Yogataveller, Koh Samui, Thailand - 20th September 2008 - By: Aubrey Lampkin

With Barbara Felden, Karen Jeffery, Debbie Harry and Jane St. John.

Back to teaching yoga on Koh Samui with all women – fantastic! This time I have one Australian woman and three British women, with the disclaimer that the Miss Debbie Harry is not the former 80’s rocker, Blondie, after due speculation. (I do think my Debbie Harry is quite a ‘rock star’, though!) Despite the blistering heat this week, my ladies were troopers. They were so good at the yoga and mediation – and also good at lounging out at the local beaches (a prerequisite for Koh Samui).

Between yoga, we spent a few days just chilling out at the nearby Choengmon Beach, a gorgeous little crescent moon-shaped white sand beach with spectacular swimming, top beach-side Thai massage and littered with delicious little local seafood restaurants. We also did a local tour of a nearby Buddhist temple which was so ornate it was truly unforgettable.

And, of course, we wrapped up the week with a scrumptious group dinner at Chilli’s in Chewang followed by Christie’s Cabaret which I think the ladies really enjoyed! Thank you so much to Barbara, Karen, Debbie and Jane ...
