Summatime... and the livin' is eeeeeeasy. Fish are jumpin'...and the prickly pear cactuses are in bloom! Even if your daddy's not rich, you can still come on a yoga holiday. Okay, that was corny, I admit. But check out the prickly pear cactus blossoming in my backyard. Gnarly, right?!
This was an exceptionally exciting week for me as one of Yogatraveller's owners, my boss and my friend, Michelle Riordan was coming from Ireland to attend the holiday with us! I couldn't wait to catch up with her, share some meals and chat about yoga (she is a teacher too) and get to teach her some classes. It's such a treat to occasionally be able to teach fellow yoga teachers - I love the vibe. There's this sort of unspoken comraderie in the room that adds to the energy, probably like when a musician goes to see a band.
Since the weather's been absolutely amazing, we couldn't miss a trip to Comino...
The week cumulated with healthy bodies, healthy minds and many more friendships made. And, I got to go to Capri for a little mini-break - lucky me! It's tough work taking a holiday from a holiday, but someone's got to do it...
Until we meet again.
